Mayur Ratwani interview, consultant at Datatech Media, a model of young Indian software houses

"You know our motto? Competitive prices for quality development beyond reproach! "
Datatech Media.JPG Mayur Ratwani is a young 22 year old IT consultant. He lives in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Province, in eastern India (north of Bombay) where the company employing him, Datatech Media, offers a range of IT services.

He speaks several languages, has a rich and varied background that lead him to propose Datatech Media offers to Australians and New Zealanders clients, but also European.

He recently referenced Datatech Media on Doolit and he may well keep us informed in the future, about what is happening in India in the field of new technologies.

Mayrur, a typical example of the new generation IT that drives India.

> Doolit - When was founded Datatech Media, and can you sum up its offer?

Mayur Ratwani - Datatech Media was founded in 2008 in Ahmedabad. We also have offices in Australia and New Zealand.

Our service offering is four main families of web services and IT: web development (open source solutions, ecommerce, CMS, web portal), application development (online application, specific modules for existing applications, ERP, solutions for supply chain), Internet marketing (SEO, SMO, PPC, affiliation, link exchange, viral marketing) and design (for web, animation, logos, flash banners).

> Doolit - Do you offer a range of services off-shore?

Mayur Ratwani - Of course, it is our current focus of development. Our ODC (Offshore Development Center) is in service for about a year.

We started with a team of 10 people, enhanced since, and propose the development of projects, maintenance and recovery of existing projects.

Our dedicated teams are available using the time of our client and we propose, for each project, assistance available 24 / 7.

> Doolit - How is your company structured?

Mayur Ratwani - Datatech Media offices in India, and the Australian team, are dedicated to development (55 resources).

The 95 other resources are concentrated mainly in India.

> Doolit - Who are your clients?

Mayur Ratwani - Our offices in Australia and New Zealand are the source of many of our commercial contracts, but India, our domestic market, is also a very important part in our turnover.

The development of the country creates needs that we fulfill, of course. But the competitiveness of our Offshore Development Centre and the high level of our engineers will enable us to expand rapidly in the direction of European clients as we aim to present.

We are aware that we must meet the expectations of our Europeans stakeholders and provide an identified process; that is why we are certified ISO 9001:2000.

> Doolit - Why do you think your client trust on you?

Mayur Ratwani - Mainly because of the reliability of our processes, tested and validated by our quality assurance (QA).

Our business model is also based on a long term relationship with our clients, coupled with extensive experience in “alcove” technologies. Our motto is very important too... do you know our motto?

> Doolit – No, what is this motto?

Mayur Ratwani - Competitive pricing for quality development beyond reproach. This is ultimately what everyone is looking I think!
