ALTEN, French engineering company, recruits graduates and most experienced resources for a large IT recruitment plan in 2010. |
ALTEN is an engineering and technology consultancy that employs more than 11,000 resources (including 88% engineers), mainly in the automotive, aerospace, defense and energy.
IT jobs for any profile of engineering
The recruitment plan announced by the management of human resources for 1,500 engineers, will affect primarily the 12 regional sites in France.
The recruitment targets are 45% young graduated engineers, but a majority (40%) will be reserved for more experienced profiles (up to 5 years experience), and even senior profiles (+ 5 years ).
All desired profiles are primarily in electronics and embedded systems areas.
Posts in France, but with a strong international involvement
The Toulouse area offers the most posts in recruitment because it is the largest hub, after Paris, that is involved in projects including Airbus.
One of the other poles of the ALTEN Group that are also involved, is Sophia-Antipolis, even behind the Paris region.
With international business representing 30% of its turnover (about 600 projects per year), ALTEN offers its consultants real opportunities outside France, with its many international locations.
Promoting your own expertise
Certified Development CMMI level 2, two service centers (in France and Spain) aims certification at level 3.
This shift toward a higher level of certification would mark the group's desire to assert itself in the engineering sector and the real know-how, at the expense of sector studies and projects.
